using the Software, you (“you” or “User”) agree to be bound by these
Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not create an
account or use the Software.

affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Sony Corporation or any

are the property of their respective owners and are used solely to
describe device compatibility.

4. CAMERA HARDWARE — ASSUMPTION OF RISK

4.1 PresetCompass communicates directly with your physical camera
hardware to read and write configuration settings. This carries inherent
risk, including but not limited to: incorrect or unintended setting
changes, interrupted communication during a write operation, camera
firmware incompatibility, and potential impact on your camera
manufacturer’s warranty.
4.2 YOU USE PRESETCOMPASS AT YOUR OWN RISK. You are solely responsible
for backing up your camera’s existing configuration, and any other data
important to you, before applying any Preset. You should use any means
necessary to do so, including but not limited to: the Software’s
built-in backup/restore feature, our optional cloud preset storage, your
camera’s own SD card or memory card, an external hard drive, or any
other storage method of your choosing. We strongly encourage maintaining
more than one independent backup and do not represent that any single
method — including our own cloud storage — is a guaranteed or complete
safeguard against loss.
4.3 Signafirm is not responsible for any damage to, malfunction of, data
loss on, or diminished performance of your camera equipment resulting
from use of the Software.
4.4 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signafirm disclaims all
liability for any direct or consequential damage to camera hardware
arising from use of the Service, whether caused by the Software, the
underlying manufacturer SDK, a defect in your device, or user error.

5. ACCOUNTS

5.1 You must provide accurate registration information (including your
legal name, a valid email address, a username, and date of birth) and
keep it up to date.
5.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your
password and for all activity that occurs under your account.
5.3 One account per person. You may not create an account on behalf of
someone else or share your account credentials.
5.4 We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe
you have violated these Terms, provided false information, or used the
Service in a way that could harm Signafirm, other users, or third
parties.

6. USER-GENERATED CONTENT (SHARED PRESETS)

6.1 The Service allows you to save Presets to your account and,
optionally, mark them “public” or “unlisted” so other users can view,
save, or use them (“Shared Content”).
6.2 You retain ownership of any Shared Content you create. By marking
content public or unlisted, you grant Signafirm a non-exclusive,
worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute
that content to other users through the Service, for as long as it
remains marked public or unlisted, or until you delete it.
6.3 You represent that you have the right to share any content you
upload, and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights.
6.4 Signafirm does not review, verify, or guarantee the accuracy or
safety of Shared Content created by other users. Applying a preset
shared by another user to your own camera is done entirely at your own
risk, subject to Section 4 above.
6.5 If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact

your claim.

UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY CAMERA MODEL.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIGNAFIRM LLC AND ITS OWNERS,

INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF
DATA, EQUIPMENT DAMAGE, OR LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE
SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. ANY
ADDITIONAL LIMITATION ON THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF SIGNAFIRM’S LIABILITY SHALL
BE AS DETERMINED AT THE DISCRETION OF SIGNAFIRM’S LEGAL COUNSEL PRIOR TO
PUBLICATION OF THIS AGREEMENT.
